  The bike is a mix of other Bajaj models that means nothing new in the technical side. After having all advanced features in a 100 cc bike, sporty look is lacking which was not difficult if wanted. Five speed gearbox is needed some improvement.

  Bajaj Discover DTS-Si gives the best mileage in the segment. Alloy wheels, Nitrox suspension, large wheelbase, electric start, LED tail lamp and five speed gearbox incorporated in a 100cc bike with affordable price that is mouth-watering.

Bajaj Discover 100 Review

Bajaj with its commuter segment bikes has won many hearts. The Discover series has shaken the market with its presence, Bajaj Discover 100 which is the basic variant of Discover series is the most fuel efficient model by Bajaj. The bike has elegant looks with the decent powered engine of 100cc. Discover looks and performs like its elder sibling Pulsar. The Digital Twin Spark ignition technology or DTS-i which increases combustion, enhanced power as well as mileage is installed in Discover. The patent technology of Bajaj, ExhausTec which increases the torque value is also granted to the bike. The motorcycle also runs on alloy wheels which have Y-shaped spokes and also the amazing features of digital meters, tank shrouds, racer tank spoilers fitted with turn indicators are fitted to the bike to make it look more sportier.

Bajaj Discover 100 is also granted with an auto choke which performs the role of the choke on its own. Also a Ride Control Switch and a maintenance free battery is built-in. Though the bike looks little petite, the bike is very comfortable and have standard dimensions at 2040mm in length, 760mm of width and 1087mm high. The ground clearance of the bike is 162mm and the wheelbase is 1305mm while the weight of the machine is 115kg. The black alloy wheels are not tubeless tyre whereas the specifications of the wheels are, front tyre size is 2.75 x 17 inches and the rear one is 3.00 x 17 inches. Both the wheels, front as well as rear one are installed with 130mm (dia) drum brakes.

Bajaj Discover 100 is very comfortable due to the presence of its suspension system which are telescopic with a wheel travel of 130mm and the rear one is a nitrox suspension with a wheel travel of 110mm. The machine also comes in cool colour combinations such as Black Green, Black Red, Black Blue, Red and Blue. The motorcycle is totally fuel efficient, its fuel consumption in the normal city conditions is 65kmpl and on the free roads like on highways its gives a mileage of 80kmpl. The machine has a fuel tank capacity of 8 litres. Bajaj Discover 100 incorporates a 94.38cc, DTS-Si 2.0, mono-cylinder, air cooling engine which works with a 4 stroke manual transmission gearbox. The engine can create 7.5BHP of maximum power at the acceleration of 7500RPM with a maximum torque of 7.85Nm obtained at 5000RPM. The machine can perform 0-60kmph in mere 7 seconds while the top speed of the bike is 100kmph.
