Honda Aviator Disc Review

Honda has presented a few brilliant scooters in the Indian market where Honda Activa and Aviator are the most famous players. Honda scooters are very trendy and easy to ride, it can be comfortably ridden by any person. One just has to accelerate accordingly, as there are no gears associated. Honda Aviator has two variants, that are, Honda Aviator Disc and Aviator Deluxe. The difference between the variants lies in braking system and width factor. The scooter measures 1802mm in length, 703mm in width and is 1162mm high. The weight of the vehicle is 102.30kg and wheelbase and ground clearance are 1256mm and 145mm, respectively.

Aviator is fitted out with alloy wheels where tuff up tubes are presented, which declines the probability of puncture, up to 70%. Size of the front wheel is 90/90-12 54J and that of the rear tyre is 90/100-10 53J. With features like self start, enhanced suspension system, footpegs and footrests, the ride becomes more comfortable and smooth. The scooter is equipped with front telescopic suspension with Unit Swing with Spring Loaded Hydraulic Damper at the rear. There are 130mm drum brakes at both the sides. Scooter is provided an analogue console including  speedometer and fuel gauge.  Honda Aviator Disc is available in a few trendy and vibrant colors which are Purple, Royal Gold, Black, White and Red. There is a storage space of 20 litres under the seat where a full size helmet and a few small things can be easily stored. The Honda Aviator Disc can become safer as well as stylish by applying guards, body covers, bumpers, seat covers, etc. There is a 6 litre fuel tank in this scooter and Honda Eco Technology with Dream Mileage Engine which enhances the performance and its fuel efficiency.

Honda Aviator Disc has a displacement of 109cc engine which is a 4-stroke single cylinder, air-cooled OHC. The engine is capable of generating 8BHP at 8000RPM and a maximum torque of 0.9kgm at 5500RPM. The mileage delivered by the scooter is 45kmpl on the city roads whereas 60kmpl on the highways. There is a viscous air filter enhances the life of the filter by stopping dust particles from going in. The maintenance free battery installed runs for a long time and does not leak. There is a combi-brake system which makes the braking system more safer.
