15 March 2013: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched another baby sports bike in the world famous CBR series after a great response for its Honda CBR 250R. The variant is called as Honda CBR 150R Deluxe which was launched on 15th March 2013. The bike is made available in different sporty colors with sporty graphics. The bike has amazing features which are as follows:
* The 149.4cc, liquid cooled, DOHC, 4-valves, 4-stroke, SI engine equips a thrilling power to the bike.
* The crystal clear headlight of the bike gives a perfect view as well as classy look to the bike.
* The PGM-FI technology makes the engine more efficient and enhances its performance.
* Handling and control of the bike is excellent due to the wider tubeless tyres and mono suspension.
* To keep the engine cool so that it performs the best, liquid cooling is provided to the engine.
* The advanced digital plus analog instrument panel makes the bike look luxurious.
* Both the wheels of the bike are equipped with the disc brakes which makes the ride safe and thrilling.
* Sporty graphics and racing stripes are given on the front cowling which is itself sporty and attractive.
* Utility space is provided under the seat which can be utilized to store small articles.
Honda CBR series is world famous for its high class design and performance. Honda has designed a low powered but an appealing model of its series and named it as Honda CBR 150R. The bike performs well on the streets and give a nice experience of a sports bike. The machine has spectacular graphics with some ravishing colors. The appearance of the bike looks is much better than a normal 150 cc bike. It is a sporty and muscular bike which has two variants, top one is Honda CBR 150R Deluxe and the base model is Honda CBR 150R Standard. The Deluxe models comes with beautiful graphics whereas Standard model come in two different shades, red and black. The Deluxe version of the bike looks extremely beautiful because of its graphics. The bike has a nice instrument console which provides all he required information such as digital fuel gauge, trip meter, odometer and speedometer with analogue tachometer. The bike sports heavy looks but is light weighted. The variant comes in two shades, Black with Candy Palm Green and Vibrant Orange with Pearl Sunbeam White. The overall dimensions of the sports bike, Honda CBR 150R DELUXE are: length is 2000mm, width is 825mm and height is 1120mm. The kerb weight of the ride is 138kg with a 190mm of ground clearance and 1305mm of wheelbase. Tube Type One Side Operation is the front suspension type and Tube Type Both Side Operation is the rear suspension type. At the front there is a 100/80-17 inches tyre while at the rear end there is a 130/70-17 inches tyre equipped and both of them are tubeless tyres. The braking system of the bike is sound, at the front wheel a 276mm (dia) disc brake is fitted out and a 220mm (dia) disc brake is fitted out at the rear wheel.
With a twin tube diamond type chassis, Honda CBR 150R DELUXE comes with a liquid cooled, 4-Stroke, SI engine, DOHC, 4 valves and a displacement of 149.4cc. The engine has a viscous air filter which increases the efficiency of the machine. The engine is mated with a 5 speed constant mesh with a 1 gear down and rest 4 gear up shift pattern which works with a wet multiplate type manual clutch. The mill is capable enough to create a topmost power output of 17.57BHP at the acceleration of 10500 rpm with a topmost torque value of 12.66Nm which is obtained at the niche of 8500 rpm. This machine can easily brake the bar of 110kmph. The fuel consumption of the bike is 40kmpl. The vehicle has the fuel tank capacity of 13 liters.
