January 2012: Suzuki launched another player in the segment of scooterette in the two-wheeler market in India. After Access 125, Suzuki has launched Swiss 125 to cater better to this segment, both the models are available in the market. The scooter was launched at Auto Expo 2012 held at New Delhi. The vehicle was soon available in the market with the following features:

* 20 liters of under seat storage

* Unique taillight with integrated clear lens indicators

* Aluminum grab bars for the safety of the pillion rider

* Attractive muffler and a wide as well as comfortable seat.

Suzuki Swish 125 has been launched in the Indian two-wheeler market very recently, in April 2012. The company aimed at huge success with this launch the scooter reminds of Suzuki's earlier product, Suzuki Access. This new scooter, Swish, shows a flash of Access, whatever was missing in Access, the company has tried to fill it up in Swish.

Scooter market in India has become much more congested than the bike market. Every two-wheeler manufacturer has launched some of their most intricately and incredibly designed scooters. Honda Activa, Honda Aviator, Honda Dio, Hero MotoCorp Maestro, Yamaha Ray, Vespa and many more choices have been made available. Suzuki after the success of its scooter, Access, has introduced another scooter, namely, Suzuki Swish 125. The scooter is beautifully designed and it does not look like its former Suzuki Access 125. It is better than the former in all the ways from styling to performance. The vehicle has been installed with an analogue type instrument console which consists of a fuel gauge, speedometer and odometer. The headlight of the machine looks similar to the one of Honda Aviator. The colors in which this gear-less scooter comes in are Metallic Flint Grey, Pearl Mira Red, Metallic Triton Blue, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black and Glass Sparkle Black. The dimensions of this attractive scooter are catchy, the overall length, width and height measurements are 1780, 650 and 1140mm, respectively, weighing 110kg. The scooter comes with a wheelbase and ground clearance measurement of 1250 and 160mm, respectively; the seat is 780mm high. The scooter runs on a smart pair of tyres and their measurements are 90/100-10 inches each. The wheels of the two-wheeler are installed with the 120mm diameter drum brake at both the sides, rear and front. Equipment of telescopic, coil spring, oil damped suspension at the front wheel and swingarm type, coil spring, oil damped suspension at the rear side help in avoiding the jerks of the road. The scooter has an under seat storage of 20 liters which can easily store a full size helmet and other necessary goods. Suzuki Swish 125 comes embedded with a powerful 4-stroke, single cylinder, OHC engine which has the displacement of 124cc. The engine is associated with the continuously variable transmission system or automatic transmission gearbox. The mill has the ability to cause the maximum power output of 8.58BHP which is achievable at an acceleration mark of 7000RPM with the peak torque value of 9.8Nm which is achievable at an acceleration mark of 5500RPM. The scooter can turn 0 to 60kmph in just 8 seconds. Suzuki claims that the scooter will accommodate an appreciable mileage of 57kmpl. The fuel tank of the scooter has the storage capacity of 6 liters. Once the tank is full, the scooter can run a distance of 342 kilometers.
