TVS motors India has been one of the major bike manufacturers in India. Predominately holding the rural market in a firm grasp, TVS motors continue churning out high quality bikes for commuters and racing enthusiasts alike. With its Apache range of motorcycles, TVS has revolutionized biking in India with its performance and maneuverability on the Indian roads. TVS Apache 180 ABS is one of the first bikes made by an Indian bike manufacturer that features the Anti-Lock Braking System. The design of the TVS Apache 180 ABS remains the same as TVS Apache 180 with no change to the exterior. It features a 4 Stroke, Air Cooled, self-ignited, 177.4cc engine that roars to life the moment you push the electric start. Producing 17.3BHP at 8500RPM, the engine is a beast. The wet multi-plate clutch supports the 5 geared engine well and revs it to maximum power to hit top speeds of 140kmpl.

Looking at its wheels, it comes with alloy wheels that make it stronger and sturdier on Indian roads. The front tire size is 90/90 x 17” and the rear tire is 110/80 x 17" which provides the bike with good grip and hold, on both dry and wet roads. Also, the wide tires ensure good maneuverability on muddy roads. Another feature that is quite helpful on TVS Apache 180 ABS is that it has tubeless tires. This helps it to keep running even if the tire goes flat especially when you are going to meet an important deadline. It comes with a big 16-liter petrol tank that holds 2.5 litres of fuel in reserve. The mileage of this bike goes as 45kmpl on open roads and drops down to 40kmpl on city roads. It comes with both front and rear and front disk brakes that give it good braking properties.

The 270mm front disk brakes and 200mm rear disk brakes do their job quite well. To smoothen up the ride, it has a telescopic front suspension, which is quite capable in handling bumps on the road. The rear wheel is equipped with a Gas Shocks Rectangular Swingarm, which is an innovation. It is very comfortable and works quite well. Instruments like tachometer, trip meter, low fuel indicator, low oil indicator, and low battery indicator - all find their places in the digital console that also houses the speedometer. With a great pick up and good comfort, it definitely makes a place on the list of bikes you would want to own.
