TVS flame ds 125 can be easily put in a competitive spot in the range of Indian stylish and economical bikes. The bike has a halogen type headlamp and electric start option. TVS Flame has a compact fuel tank that can hold 7.5 litres of fuel whereas a larger 1320mm. The twin spark plug and three valve technology, the bike is flooded with many such advanced features.

Mileage and Fuel Economy

In a country like india where petroleum hikes have captured the front page headlines in almost all of the nation’s newspapers, fuel efficiency automatically becomes one of the most captivated feature while looking for a bike. TVS flame DS 125 delivers a mileage of about 60 kmpl on city roads( with all the bumpy roads) and even above that on highways. The 125 cc three valve engine of this motorcycle is tuned to the ideal swirl-tumble port combination so that it delivers superior performance while simultaneously delivering high fuel efficiency. The bike is expected to offers a mileage of around 70 kmpl. The mileage of the bike is very good which is due to the less weight of the bike.TVS Flame incorporates a four speed manual gearbox and wet multi-plate clutch.

TVS has tried something new and innovative in the dashboard called the IMI – Instant Mileage Indicator. The digital console helps to know the fuel efficiency and the approximate mileage that the bike is delivering ,so that one can adjust accordingly . The rear end of the bike sports a dual lens tail lamp.

It has sporty delta edge exhaust that is not just a styling element but also to deliver the smoothest of sounds, lowest emissions and excellent performance. The engine of TVS DS 125 has two different in take ports, swirl and power port. A swirl motion is created of the intake air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber, which leads to efficient burning of lean air-fuel mixture and helps improve the bike’s fuel efficiency. The power port opens to allow a high flow rate of the air-fuel mixture to deliver high power in the power throttle mode.

Wheels

TVS flame ds 125 has a big wheel size of 90/90 x 17 front and 110/80 x 17 rear. The 240 mm front disc brake is complemented with a chic triangular exhaust that is not only unique but also enhances performance and delivers a pleasing sound with low emissions.
