Overall Review

TVS MAX 4R can be easily put in the front rows in the Indian commuter section of bikes. This bike is updated with whole new range of graphics and technologies like 4 stroke engine in place of 2 stroke, alloy wheels, wide and comfortable seat. The bike gained huge popularity due to its fuel efficiency as the bike provides good mileage on roads. With 110cc power and maximum power of 8.4bhp 7,500rpm, the bike is mainly in demand because of its fuel efficient features, i.e. the mileage of 60kmpl in cities and 85 kmph in highways, the bike is strictly a fuel saver in disguise and one of the popular tourers on the streets.

Mileage and Fuel Economy

In a country like India where petrol rates are as high as gold, mileage and fuel economy automatically becomes the most observed feature while purchasing a bike. The bike delivers a mileage of 60 kmpl on roads. This 110cc power plant has enough technology to develop a peak power of 8.4 bhp at 7,500 rpm and produces a top torque of 8.3Nm at 5500rpm. TVS max 4R has an air cooled, single cylinder and four stroke engine with a displacement of 110cc. its light weight and standard tyres ensure great mileage offers on roads. The bike is provided with a 12 litres fuel tank with 1 litre of fuel reserve.

The 4 Stroke engine of the TVS Max 4R is very powerful in generating zipper acceleration and pick up. Appearance

The console will have speedometer, tripmeter, low fuel indicator and fuel gauge. These meters may be placed in rectangular shaped console. The seat of TVS max would be wide and flat with no compromise on comfort. TVS MAX 4R might be fitted with long size silencer in stainless steel finish. The company has also provided the bike with an impressing look and has given it a capability to load a weight of 200kg at a single point of time. Engine

TVS MAX has a 110 cc engine with 4 stroke, single cylinder, air cooling and SOHC. Now the TVS MAXwill come with 4 stroke instead of 2 stroke in the discontinued bike due to new emission norms. The bike will have a four speed manual gearbox. The engine has been furnished with 53.5 mm Cylinder Bore and 48.8 mm Stoke. Engine of TVS max 4R is supposed to deliver a top power of 8.4 bhp at 7500 rpm and develops a peak torque of 8.3 Nm at 5500 rpm. This bike will be launched with complete braking and suspension system.

Wheels

As far as wheels are concerned, TVS MAX 4R is believed to adopt alloy wheels, which gives a sporty and masculine look to this commuter bike.TVS MAX is reported to be loaded with spoke rim with 17 inch wheels. TVS MAX is supposed to have wheel size as front 2.75 x 17 and rear 3.00 x 17 inch.

Suspension

When it comes to suspension, TVS MAX T is provided with shock absorbing suspension system thus, avoiding the jerky motions as it will have telescopic forks at both the ends. The advanced suspension system incorporated offers higher stability and control to its users.

Handling and Control

The wheelbase of TVS MAX 4R is 1217mm and thus it provides safer and easy controlling of the bike and this helps balancing the bike even on bumpy roads. 15 October 2010 - India’s third largest two wheeler manufacturer TVS motor company will relaunch TVS MAX 4R very soon. This bike is upgraded in terms of features and technology as the earlier TVS MAX. The new TVS MAX 4r is bigger better and more efficient.
