TVS Star Sport is an entry level bike from TVS Motor Company which came into market with some advancement and a new suitable price tag. TVS wants to give a tough competition to other bikes, for example, Bajaj Discover, Platina Hero Splendor, which belong to the same segment. The bike comeS with some new features like Black Matte Finish Alloy Wheels, Dual Tone Graphics, New Design for Instrument Cluster, New Color Shades and Electric Start. The design of the bike is quite appealing and sporty. All black theme is applied on the bike with black silencer, engine and alloy wheels. The instrument console consisting of two pods is small but attractive. There is an analogue type speedometer and odometer and the second dial includes fuel gauge with other indicators which are also of analogue type.

Dimensions of TVS Star Sport is similar to its elder sibling, TVS Star City and these measures are: 2002mm x 1058mm x 700mm (L x W x H). Ground clearance and wheelbase of the bike is 165mm and 1250mm, respectively, and the kerb weight of the machine is 99kg. Suspensions which make the journey pleasant and stress free are telescopic hydraulic fork (110mm stroke) is at the front and 5 stage adjustable shockers (79mm stroke) are at the back. The alloy wheels attached to the motorcycle are of 2.75 x 17 inches at the front and 3.00 x 17 inches at the rear. Both the wheels of the vehicle are equipped with a 110mm drum brakes. The female comes in few color combinations which are Black with Red, Black with Green, Red with White and Black with Orange.

The tank of TVS Star Sport has a fuel capacity of 12 litres with 2 litres of reserve. The machine can deliver a 65kmpl in the busy city conditions and on the free roads the mileage can increase up to 5kmpl. The machine is powered by a 99.7cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder, air cooling engine, which works with the 4-speed manual gearbox. The transmission is done by pushing all the four gears down. The engine of the bike produces 7.5BHP of maximum net power at the acceleration of 7500RPM with an maximum torque value of 7.5Nm obtained at 5000RPM. The top speed of the machine is 85kmph which is quite low and while running at this speed the engine produces very bad noise and the body starts vibrating.
