Soon after its launch in 2010, Yamaha YBR 125 was launched that featured more advanced features. With a 125 cc engine, it offered a better suspension and more efficient handling. Recently, there was a rumor that Yamaha is planning to eject Yamaha Crux and YBR 110 from the market and replace it with gearless scooters. Ray 113 was Yamaha’s first step towards it.

After creating a strong impact in the 150 cc segment with Fazer, FZ-16, and R15, Yamaha plans to step ahead a little bit in the two-wheeler market. With a tagline of “Mazbooti aisi ki chalti hi jaye”, Yamaha continues its durable and reliable Brand name. After the flop show of Crux, this is Yamaha’s latest weapon capture the commuter segment of the two-wheeler market. At the launch, Mr. Yukimine Tsuji, CEO and Managing Director, India Yamaha Motors, mentioned that they wanted to launch an affordably priced bike that gives good mileage and carries with itself innovative design and great performance. Challenging Passion Pro, Splendor, XCD and Discover, YBR 110 is Yamaha’s desperate attempt to increase its sales. Yamaha YBR 110 is fitted with 106 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC engine. The engine is capable of delivering a maximum power of 7.6 bhp at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 7.8 Nm at 6000 rpm. Yamaha YBR 110 has an overall length, width and height of 2040 mm, 715 mm and 1095 mm. Yamaha YBR 110 weighs 126 kilograms. The bike gives around 56.2 kilometers per liter mileage in city traffic, while 59.7 kilometers per liter while riding on a highway. Yamaha YBR 110 is equipped with a 13-liter fuel tank. Yamaha YBR 110 is available in – Black, Red, and combination of Black and Red. It reaches 0-60 kilometers per hour in about 8 seconds.

Yamaha YBR 110, with its sober looks, impresses everyone with its simplicity. The bright and stylish headlight, a rear carrier and an all-analog instrument cluster look good. The ideal designing of seat, handlebar and foot pegs makes the ride fatigue free. . It reaches a top speed of about 83 kilometers per hour, and is capable of much more. Yamaha has always produced ride-friendly bikes and this is no different. Yamaha YBR 110 features telescopic front suspension and swing arm rear suspension. Yamaha YBR 110 is equipped with 5-spoke silver alloy wheels of standard size. It has a wheelbase of 1285 mm. The front tire measures 2.75 X 18” 4PR while the rear tire measures 3.00 X 18” 6 PR. The front tires as well as rear tire are equipped with a 130 mm drum brake. The bike behaves well while cornering. It remains stable almost throughout with just slight vibration when it reaches a speed of around 70 kilometers per hour. There are rumors that Yamaha is planning to eject Yamaha Crux and YBR 110 from the market and replace it with gearless scooters.
