Kawasaki Ninja

Kawasaki Ninja Description

Kawasaki Ninja is a sports bike, which targets the biker lovers who believe in speed and Ninja 300 is one of its variants. This 300cc two-wheeler's aim is to get more sales figures as it is considered a replacement for Ninja 250R. This bike is meant for only city terrains, and it will not perform as per its potential on rough roads. The purpose of the bike is to establish itself well in the Indian two-wheeler arena.

The special features of the bike are its looks, refined and powerful engine.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 is powered by a 4 stroke, liquid-cooled engine with a displacement of 296cc. The DOHC, parallel twin engine cranks off a maximum power of 39bhp at 11000rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 10000rpm. This engine is served with a 6 speed manual transmission which comes with one gear down and 5 gears up shift pattern. In terms of mileage, this two-wheeler delivers 22kmpl on short revs and 25 to 27kmpl on long revs.

This sports bike has a design which is more aerodynamic than that of 250R. It has sharp twin headlights, which broadens its face. What gives this bike an aggressive and sporty look is its V shaped pointed visor placed with Black colored rear view mirror. The latest design of alloy wheels does not give it a much premium look, however, it gels well with its overall appearance. The side profile of the bike features integrated engine cowl and side fairing makes it more sporty.

The top speed of the bike is 170kmph, and it can touch the mark of 0 to 100kmph in mere 8 seconds. Its dual throttle valve technology helps this sports bike to offer instant throttle reaction. Kawasaki Ninja 300 has a suspension system, which is powered by a 37mm telescopic at the front and linked rear mono-shock at its rear. The braking system of the bike is powered by a 290mm Nissin discs at the front and 220mm Nissin discs at its rear.

The instrument console of this two-wheeler features a digital fuel-guage, trip meter and speedometer. Its tacho meter is analogue. The engine's block material is Aluminum Alloy and its chassis type is tube diamond steel. In terms of dimension, this bike comes with a length of 2015mm, height of 1200m and a width of 715mm. Its saddle height is 785mm and kerb weight is 173kg.

On the whole, this bike is up for its well-designed body and power it offers, however, it has no ABS and its price too is higher. Had Kawasaki worked on such shortcomings, it would have gone way ahead than its competitors like Hero Karizma ZMR, Bajaj Pulsar 220, Honda CBR250R.
