Suzuki Hayate Description

Suzuki Hayate is equipped with an air-cooled and 4 stroke engine with a displacement of 112cc. The mono-cylinder, SOHC engine cranks off a maximum power of 8.3bhp at 7500rpm and with a torque of 8.8Nm at 5500rpm. The engine is mated to a 4 speed manual gearbox. It comes with all gears down shift pattern. As far as the mileage of this commuter is concerned, it delivers a mileage of around 60 kmpl on short revs and if it is tried on long stretches, it might go up to a better mark of 65-70 kmpl. It is available in two electric and kick-start versions.
Suzuki Hayate features a suspension system with telescopic, coil spring, oil damped at its front and at rear it has a swing arm, coil spring and oil damped which have been borrowed from the slingshot. Its braking system features mechanical, leading trailing drum type at its front and the rear for more safety. The top speed of the bike is 80 kmph and it takes around 9 seconds to reach 60 kmph from standstill.
In terms of design, this motor-cycle looks identical to its predecessors and unlike its name there is nothing fresh in his bike visually. This two-wheeler carries the same glistening bikini fairing and dynamics from slingshot. Its front mudguard, prominent headlight and its fairing all look aerodynamic. Its tail light and garb rails are pretty similar to Honda Shine. What enhances its look, is the edgy lines with sporty decals on its fuel-tank. Overall, this commuter is adept at running errands. It completes the daily chores without any hiccup and promises to offer an impressive mileage. This motor-cycle is a nimble handler and comes with cushy saddle for those who spend long hours on the bike. However, an optional disc brake would be appreciated.
